***MAP Testing - This week we start MAP tests.  Tomorrow we will take the reading test, Friday the 2nd graders will take the language test, and Monday, April 27th we will take the math test.

Tomorrow is our field trip to The Building For Kids.  We will be leaving school at 8:45 and returning around 2:45.  Tomorrow is a uniform day.

Reminder - Lunch tomorrow - If your child would like to have cheese pizza and juice it will be provided.  If your child does not want pizza, please pack a cold lunch.  The lunch needs to be in a brown bag and everything must be consumable.  (plastic silverware, baggies, etc.)

Second grade has phonics homework tonight.

Some of the kids did already finish their homework when they were done with their handwriting today.  Check with your child to see if they have homework tonight.  :)

A few FYIs...

*Spelling - We are not having a spelling list this week.  We won't be here on Friday to take a test.  :)

*Field Trip - Please return the permission slip for the field trip on Friday if you haven't already.

*Lunch on Friday - We have had a parent offer to buy cheese pizza and provide juice boxes for all of the students and chaperones on Friday.  If your child does not want pizza, please send a cold lunch. The lunch needs to be in a brown bag and everything must be consumable.  (baggies, plastic silverware, etc.)
