Phonics - Before spring break we were introduced to a new row of vowel teams.  This row is a little different from our previous vowel teams, as -ow has two sounds.

Science - We finished up our PLTW unit sun, moon, and stars.  Our final project was to create a shelter for a playground that would protect you from the UV rays of the sun.

This week we will be starting another PLTW science unit.  The next unit is called Animal Adaptations.
