Phonics - Our focus this week will be our new glued sounds - ang, ing, ong, ung

Writing - This week we will continue working in our November journals.  We are working on lowercase vs. capital letters, finger spacing, punctuation, and adding details (in both our writing and our illustrating).

Math - Last week we worked on some fun Thanksgiving math.  :)  This week we are focusing on number words, ordinal numbers (first, second, third, etc.), money using dimes and pennies, and dividing squares into halves.

Social Studies - Before we start our next PLTW unit, we are doing a short social studies unit.  We are learning about basic map skills such as the compass rose, map key, and me on the map (continent, country, state, city)

Religion - Last week we finished up our Friendzy unit - Listen Up!  This week we will start the next unit - Stress Less - Breathe Easy.  We read from our Promise Paper.  We continued to work on our virtues and values of Gratitude and Cooperation.
