FYI -

Thank you to Mrs. Meyer and Mr. Miller.  They are going to be our chaperones for our field trip to The Building For Kids.

Odyssey - We have a computer program at school called Odyssey.  It matches up with each child's MAP scores.  Some of the students have been wanting to go on Odyssey at home.
The link is https://www.thelearningodyssey.com/.
They know their username and passwords.  Where it says school it needs to say GBACE.

Have a great night!  :)

Wednesday, April 30, 2014

All year long the kids have been asking for a pajama day when they filled the marble jar.  Mr. Norcross kept telling them no.  Well, they have been bugging him during lunch the last few days...and he finally said yes!  (They are very persuasive.)  :)  Tomorrow is a mass day and Friday is spring fling.  I don't want to keep putting it off...and since I've already planned our movie and treat day for tomorrow...the persuasive students talked me into a compromise.  They can wear their uniforms to school.  After church they can change into their pajamas.  So, please pack your children's backpacks with their pajamas.  I'll have them change into their pajamas after church.  They may bring their slippers too.

Have a great night!!!

*This week we will not have a spelling list.  Friday is Spring Fling.  The students will be in fun mini courses all day long.  :)

*The students filled the marble jar again.  We'll have a reward day to celebrate.  We're going to celebrate on Thursday this week.  We'll have a movie and snacks to end the day.  :)  Congrats to the students on their great behavior!

*Speaking of great behavior - our system is going great!  On Friday EVERYONE stayed at a 4 all day long!  I was so proud of everyone!!!!

*Please remember to return permission slips for The Building For Kids.  The field trip is on May 22nd.  We do need chaperones for this field trip.  Please remember to write on the permission slip if you will be able to chaperone.  (It's a lot of fun!)

*Last Thursday field day teams went out in the Thursday folders.  Don't forget to check out which team your child is on.  :)

*Today was day 151!  It's hard to believe there are only 29 days of school!

Have a great night!!!
