We had an awesome visit with channel 2 meteorologist Steve Beylon today!  He was so fun and so informative!  Our class is going to be on the news Friday morning.  The times will be approximately 4:48 am, 5:08 am, 5:38 am, 6:08 am, and 6:38 am.

We had a yummy dessert after our visit!  Sky cups!  (Blue Jell-o = sky, Cool Whip = clouds, candy topping = rainbow)  Kambria really liked our treat!  :)

Phonics - We are working on glued sounds -ank, -ink, -onk, and -unk.

Math - We are continuing to work on telling time to the :00 and the :30.

Science - Tomorrow is our visit from the meteorologist!  We are excited!!!

Religion - We are continuing to focus on Advent.  Our Jesse Tree is growing!  We are also watching the movie The Star.  This week we will be getting mass parts.  We have mass on December 20th.

We also talked about St. Nick!  We made some stockings.  And we were pretty lucky!  St. Nick left us some treats in our stockings at school!

Prayer Leader - Each week one of our classroom jobs is the prayer leader.  Lorelai brought a special book from home this week to share with us.  Here she is reading one of her prayers while some friends look on.

Every Wednesday Brother Jacob comes into our classroom.  Last Wednesday was really special!  It was Brother Jacob's birthday!  We made a birthday board for him.  :)

The Christmas concert last week was beautiful.  Here are a few pictures of the practice and from the night of the concert.

We are getting into the Christmas spirit here at school.  We have lots of fun decorations!  We even have a classroom elf - Samantha Snowbell!  We love her!  We made ourselves into elves too!  Yesterday we had a great time ringing bells at the mall!
